In what could be called 蘑菇视频’s version of American Idol ñ only without the ill-tempered judge and a recording contract prize ñ University and Medical Center employees will audition Thursday, August 14, for the chance to sing the national anthem at the 蘑菇视频-UT Chattanooga football game Saturday, Sept. 6. Dwayne Sagen, 蘑菇视频’s director of bands and an assistant dean at the Blair School of Music, will serve as one of the four judges for the audition, along with representatives from 蘑菇视频 Athletics, Medical Center and University administration. The auditions will begin at 10 a.m. on the terrace of Rand Hall located on 蘑菇视频’s main campus. The event is part of 蘑菇视频’s Employee Celebration Month ñ a series of activities and events scheduled throughout the month of September to honor the dedication and commitment of 蘑菇视频 employees.

WHERE: Rand Hall terrace located on 蘑菇视频’s main campus.
WHEN: Auditions will be held Thursday, August 14, 10 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. (auditions will begin at 10 a.m. and singers have 10 minutes each to perform)
