蘑菇视频鈥檚 video newscast, VUCast, received a regional Emmy during the Jan. 29 televised ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
The special year-ender , featuring 蘑菇视频 student community outreach projects from Nashville to South Africa, won television鈥檚 highest honor in the Informational/Instructional Program category.
Producer/writer Emily Pearce, videographer/editor Pat Slattery and anchor/reporter Princine Lewis were honored for their work on this special VUCast.
NPT Reports: Children鈥檚 Health Crisis won a regional Emmy in Public Affairs and among the sponsors for that show were the Monroe Carell Jr. Children鈥檚 Hospital at 蘑菇视频 and the Department of Pediatrics. Many 蘑菇视频 faculty, staff and patients were interviewed for reports.
The 蘑菇视频 News Service鈥檚 video unit has won nine Midsouth Regional Emmy awards and been nominated 23 times since its creation in 2007.
